Master Work: Slaves of New York 1776

BRIC House, January 17 – February 25, 2018

Master Work: Slaves of New York 1776 filled BRIC’s Project Room with twenty five thousand feathers. The work includes one duck feather for each enslaved African in the colony of New York at the time of the American Revolution.

The project was commissioned by the inaugural BRIC ArtFP program. Images above shot by Etienne Frossard
